About Us

Meet your Farmers

Kaitlyn is the flower farmer and floral designer. Designing starts long before the vase—it begins with the seed, selecting varieties chosen for how they'll shine in arrangements.

She takes her lead from Mother Nature, embracing the ever-changing parade of blooms each season brings. Her style? Garden-inspired, whimsical, romantic, and organic. More than anything, she loves sharing the joy that flowers bring.

Erik is the citrus farmer, with a passion for sustainable growing and a weakness for plants that don't thrive here easily. His collection started with a single lime tree—a gift from Kaitlyn—and has since grown into a greenhouse full of lemons, oranges, and even a few avocados.

With the mildest climate in Canada, citrus can thrive on the Saanich Peninsula—with a bit of hand-holding, the right microclimate, winter protection, and plenty of patience.

When he's not tending the trees, he's building the infrastructure that keeps the farm running: irrigation systems, greenhouses, and whatever else needs fixing.

About our Farm

We're dedicated to working in harmony with Mother Nature. That means no harmful sprays—instead, using beneficial insects as the first line of defence against bugs like aphids. It means nurturing the soil so it can nurture our plants and the ecosystem within.

It also means thinking beyond the field: rooftop solar panels that produce clean energy, an electric car for deliveries and markets, and feeding plants and soil with fish juice (yes, it’s super stinky but the garden loves it).

As for our floristry choices, you won't find single-use plastic wrapping our bouquets, and our designs use creative mechanics like chicken wire to stay far away from floral foam and its microplastics. Small choices, but they add up.
